Kraft vs. laminated euro tote bags
An everyday paper carrier or a premium laminated tote — a straight side-by-side from the people who print both.
The short answer
Choose kraft paper for everyday carry-out use, where a bag that stands on the counter, carries a normal load and recycles cleanly matters most. Choose a laminated euro tote when the bag is part of the brand experience and customers should keep and reuse it. Both are made to your artwork, both come with a free mockup within 24 hours, and both start from a minimum of 12 bags.

Where kraft paper wins
Kraft is the default for a reason: it carries more than it looks like it should and it recycles cleanly. Two details separate a good kraft bag from a poor one. The turnover is the folded band of paper glued inside the mouth, which stops the handle tearing out on the first heavy load, and the card base insert keeps the bag standing instead of sagging into a sack. A standard 150gsm bag with both carries up to about 10 pounds. Water-based ink prints clean one- and two-color logos well on the natural stock. See kraft paper shopping bags.
Where a laminated euro tote earns its place
A euro tote reads as packaging rather than as a carrier. Litho printing reproduces photography, gradients and fine detail that spot-color printing cannot, lamination protects the print from scuffing and moisture, and matte, gloss or soft-touch finishes change the whole feel of the bag. Ribbon handles knotted through reinforced eyelets and optional foil stamping or spot UV finish it, which is why customers reuse these bags and why the brand keeps travelling. See laminated euro tote bags.
The verdict
Pick kraft paper for boutiques, grocers, delis, markets and pop-ups that want a dependable, recyclable carrier at the lowest cost per bag.
Pick a laminated euro tote for fashion, beauty, jewellery, hotels and premium events where the bag itself is part of the product.
Either way, standard production and delivery take about 2 weeks. Send your artwork and quantity through the quote form and the free mockup will show your bag both ways.
